Born in Aleppo, Syria in 1971, graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus. Following his first solo exhibition in the capital in 2001, he was awarded a scholarship from KAAD (Katholischer Akademischer Ausländer-Dienst) and moved to Germany to continue his studies. He studied at the University of Siegen under Prof. Daniel Hees, and later at the Düsseldorf Academy of Art with Prof. Siegfried Anzinger.
In 2006, he returned to Syria, where he lived and worked for seven years before relocating to Germany and settling in Berlin. He has participated in numerous international exhibitions across cities including Aleppo, Damascus, Amman, Dubai, Istanbul, Bonn, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Brussels.
