Khaled Jarada is a visual artist and illustrator from Gaza City, where he obtained a degree in Multimedia. He published many children's books and youth with very varied publishing houses. He also participated in numerous local and international artistic exhibitions. In 2021 Khaled was selected as part of an artistic residency by the Spanish Academy of Rome. Before that, in 2020, he received a scholarship from the French Institute intended for his Pandemic Diaries project. He also completed a residency in the Artistic Center Shbabek in Gaza. More recently in 2025 he was an artist in residence at La Cité des Arts Paris, and recieved an honorable mention for the Reiffers Art Prize 2026.
Khaled is interested in expressionism and his work mainly focuses on figures, the study of the human body and the psychological effect as well as the issues contemporaries.
