“Some people stare at the clouds to see shapes and characters, I stare at bicycles” says the internationally acclaimed photographer, Fares Jamal.
Because of bicycles often being featured in his photography, he decided to pay an even closer attention to them and start a collection that was facilitated through his travels and experiences of places from around the world.
The talented photographer uses the bicycles to tell a story by representing characters and emotions based on the ambiance and the environment around them. The pictures show bicycles that imitate the human character and behavioral patterns. Each one is named, in respect to the character that it portrays.
He believes, as quoted by Einstein that “Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving.” He shows the continuity of life through the bicycles and how everyone handles life differently due to their individual character traits.
